DATE/TIME: In partnership with the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA) and Indiana Disability Rights, the Fair Housing Center of Central Indiana (FHCCI) is hosting a Fair Housing Disability Training on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at the Rushville Public Library in Rushville, Indiana from 1:00-4:00 PM (Eastern).
AGENDA: This training will focus on rental specific regulations. Topics to be addressed include: Overview of fair housing laws and the Americans with Disabilities Act; Common types of disability based housing discrimination; Disability specific fair housing regulations including reasonable accommodations, reasonable modifications, and design and construction accessibility requirements; and Common questions related to animals as reasonable accommodation.
WORKSHOP COST: There is no cost to attend this workshop; however, advance registration is required due to seating limitations.
PARKING: Parking is free.
