FHCCI Fair Housing Disability (Virtual)
In this 2 hour virtual workshop, learn about the disability-specific regulations of fair housing laws (focus on rental transactions).
This workshop will be hosted live to allow interaction with attendees. Topics to be discussed: definition of disability under fair housing law, common types of disability based housing discrimination, disability-specific fair housing regulations and guidance, reasonable accommodations and modifications, an introduction to design and construction accessibility requirements, and more.
IMPORTANT: Registration is free but required. Only one registrant allowed per email address. DO NOT SHARE THE LOG IN INFO OR SHARE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS WITH OTHERS OR USE IT TO REGISTER OTHER PEOPLE. To track attendance virtually, Zoom uses your email address. If you share it with others, attendance cannot be tracked and we will not be able to verify your participation. You must have an account with Zoom (free to register) and it should be the same email address used to register for ease of tracking and log in. Certificates of Attendance will only be provided to those whose attendance can be verified.
This workshop will be offered nearly monthly with the same agenda through January 2027. Funding for this workshop provided by the Indiana Housing & Community Development Authority (IHCDA).
