FHCCI Fair Housing 90/Fair Housing Protections for Domestic Violence Survivors (Virtual)

In this 90-minute virtual workshop, we will discuss fair housing laws as it relates to people who are or have experienced domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and/or stalking.

Anticipated topics to be discussed: sex protected characteristic under fair housing laws, protections afforded under the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), HUD VAWA Cases and relevant fair housing cases, Indiana Landlord/Tenant Law Based Protections for Survivors in Private Housing, best practices for housing providers, and more! This workshop will be hosted live to allow interaction with attendees.
