Fair Housing 90/Housing Scams Webinar
In this 90 minute virtual workshop, we will cover different types of housing scams that the FHCCI is aware of and monitoring. Join to learn what these products / services are and why they may not be as good of a “deal” as they seem. This workshop will be hosted live to allow interaction with attendees.
Anticipated topics to be discussed: reverse mortgages, foreclosure prevention schemes, We Buy Homes for Cash offers, land contracts, Craig’s List rental scams, and more.
Registration is free but required. Only one registrant allowed per email address. DO NOT SHARE THE LOG IN INFO OR SHARE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS WITH OTHERS OR USE IT TO REGISTER OTHER PEOPLE. To track attendance virtually, Zoom uses your email address. If you share it with others, attendance cannot be tracked and we will not be able to verify your participation. You must have an account with Zoom (free to register) and it should be the same email address used to register for ease of tracking and log in. Certificates of Attendance will only be provided to those whose attendance can be verified.
