Join the Fair Housing Center of Central Indiana for this 2-hour Fair Housing Training, presented with ASL interpretation by The League. The presentation will cover an overview of fair housing protections before going into the disability-specific protections the Fair Housing Act grants people with disabilities to open up housing access. Topics will include: the 7 federally protected classes, the major fair housing regulations, definition of disability as it relates to fair housing, reasonable modifications, reasonable accommodations, protections for the D/deaf and hard of hearing communities, service or assistance animals, and more!
This training will be held in-person at the AWS Foundation (5323 W Jefferson Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN 46804) but registrants may choose to instead participate virtually. Please register at the link below and tell us which way you plan to participate!
