Military Service Veteran Status

Military service/veteran status is not protected under federal or Indiana state fair housing laws from housing discrimination. However, some Indiana local jurisdictions provide protection for military service or veteran status under their local human rights or human relations ordinances. Check with your city or county for any available protections as it relates to housing discrimination.
