DATE/TIME: The Fair Housing Center of Central Indiana (FHCCI), in partnership with Indiana Disability Rights and the Columbus Human Rights Commission, will be hosting a Fair Housing Disability Training on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at the Columbus City Hall in Columbus from Noon-3:00 PM.
AGENDA: Topics to be addressed include: Overview of fair housing laws and the Americans with Disabilities Act; Common types of disability based housing discrimination; Disability specific fair housing regulations including reasonable accommodations, reasonable modifications, and design and construction accessibility requirements; and Common questions related to animals as reasonable accommodation.
WORKSHOP COST: There is no cost to attend this workshop; however, advance registration is required due to seating limitations.
PARKING: Parking is free.
